Gunfire leads to arrest in Vancouver parking lot

first_imgA 21-year-old Portland man was arrested Wednesday night after he allegedly fired a handgun after a confrontation in a grocery store parking lot in Vancouver.Vancouver police responded to a call about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday. A person involved in the confrontation reported following another vehicle with the suspect who had allegedly fired the gun, according to a statement from the Vancouver Police Department.Officers responded to the area of 2200 E. Fourth Plain Boulevard and arrested Treston J. Thomas, 21, on suspicion of first-degree assault and reckless endangerment. According to police, Thomas allegedly fired a handgun in a grocery store parking lot at Mill Plain Boulevard and Chkalov Drive after becoming angry during a confrontation.According to police, no one was injured.last_img
