first_img For Whom The Bell Rings Friday is the last day for early voting on the city of Atlanta’s proposal to take out more than $250 million in bonds for infrastructure improvements.Voters will have one more day to weigh in on the bond proposal being floated by the city. The last day to vote will be Tuesday, which also falls on St. Patrick’s Day.City officials say the money is needed to start addressing nearly a $1 billion backlog on infrastructure improvements. The project list spans more than 200 proposals, including syncing traffic lights, repaving roads and fixing a number of crumbling bridges. There are also plans to put in more bike paths, restore a city swimming pool and fix sidewalks. But the actual list of projects isn’t finalized, and it won’t be until after Tuesday’s vote. That means residents will head to the polls without knowing exactly which projects will make the final cut.  Add to My List In My List Share Related Stories ‘It’s Fractured’: Georgia Lt. Gov.
