The individual will work with adynamic and multidisciplinary research group consisting of a broadarray of individuals at multiple levels of training. The positionwill require on-the-job training as well as travel to localresearch sites for ongoing multicenter studies. The research topicsencompass a range of methods to study retinal disorders that impactthe structure and function of the retinal vasculature. We aim todevelop new methods of diagnosis and treatment usingstate-of-the-art imaging techniques and treatment modalities. Theideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with graduatelevel training in one or more of the following fields:Neurosciences, Visual Physiology, Ophthalmology, Adaptive Optics,Optical Coherence Tomography, Image Analysis, Clinical Research,Biomedical Engineering or related fields. This candidate should becapable of independently learning new analytical techniques and hassignificant expertise in one or more of the following areas:research protocol development and writing, IRB submissions,biostatistics, data analysis, human subject recruitment, retinalimaging (OCT, OCTA, Fundus photography, ERG etc), refraction,visual acuity assessment and familiarity with researchadministration.
